Mikko is a seasoned new business development expert and strategist. His versatile international experience covers various high technology businesses from industrial logistic and retail automation to electronic payments and heavy engineering. He has lived, studied and worked abroad his entire career, dealing with marketing and sales, business development and change management. Mikko’s responsibilities have included industrial collaboration and technology transfer between large corporations and start-ups, innovation management, go-to-market and technology commercialisation consulting as well as projects related to Russia. He has coached early-stage start-up companies to develop and execute their business plans to secure financing and pursue international growth.

Before returning to Finland he served in a Pan-European role with MasterCard’s Mondex subsidiary in London and in several management roles for Valmet Corporation in Finland, France and Germany, introducing new information technologies to Russia, launching the company’s technology sourcing from Russian military industry and turning around company’s marketing and sales in France. Mikko received his Master’s Degree in Computer engineering from Saint Petersburg Electrotechnical University (LETI) and International MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is fluent in Finnish, English, Russian and German.
